Notice to All Visitors to Rotor Clip
Rotor Clip receives certain orders from customers containing technical data, export of which is restricted by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Disclosure of this restricted technical data to foreign persons without prior U.S. Government approval is prohibited. Violations of these export laws and regulations are subject to severe civil and criminal penalties.
As such, the company is required to ensure that some technical information, (i.e.: data, materials, software, hardware, technology) will be secured from use and observation by non-U.S. citizens.
Technical data may take the form of a blueprint, plan, diagram, model, formula, table, engineering design or specifications, as well as manuals or instructions written or recorded on other media or devices, such as a disk, tape or read-only memories.
In order for Rotor Clip to maintain compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations, and to protect the technical information of our customers, the following process is to be followed with respect to visitors to our facilities:
- Upon arrival at Rotor Clip, all visitors will sign in to the Visitor Log maintained by the Receptionist in the main building.
- The Receptionist is required to verify the status of all visitors.
- The Receptionist is to confirm that the status of the visitor(s) is properly indicated in the Visitor Log.
- The Receptionist will notify the Company “host” that the visitor(s) has arrived.
- Using the Visitor Log, the “host” will determine if the visitor(s) is to be restricted from access to technical data.
- If the visitor(s) is not categorized as a U.S. person, the visitor(s) must be accompanied at all times throughout the buildings.
- All Company personnel accompanying the visitor(s) must be made aware of the restrictions against access to technical data and ensure that no technical data is made available to the visitor(s).
