Rotor Clip is certified to the following international quality standards ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and AS9100. Over the years, we have received numerous quality awards as well, including the GM "Mark of Excellence," the Ford Q1 and the Chrysler QE. But our quality reputation means more to us than mere plaques on the wall. It is our way of assuring our customers that they can use our products with confidence. As we move through the 21st Century, it is also our way of demonstrating our commitment to meeting our customers demands for quality innovation and process savings.

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is an international standard that outlines the essential requirements of a modern quality management system for manufacturing. This includes monitoring of internal processes, continuous improvement, and a strong system of controls over information and material. As an organization certified to ISO 9001, Rotor Clip has implemented the necessary procedures and training to ensure it can offer products conforming to the high quality standards expected by customers around the globe. 

IATF16949

IATF is goal oriented and fits very well with the drive to provide value and service to its global customers. Instead of focusing on core procedures that everyone is expected to follow, IATF requires management to set goals and meaningful metrics. These targets are tracked on a regular basis and problems are addressed through corrective and preventive actions. This goal driven philosophy results in timely improvements in every area of the company and cost reduction opportunities for its customers.

AS9100

Rotor Clip is certified to AS9100 and operates under a quality management system meeting the standards of its aerospace customers. The AS9100 standard places additional emphasis on functions such as systematic risk management, configuration management, and evaluation of suppliers. As an AS9100-certified company, Rotor Clip takes responsibility for not only its own work, but also the work of its vendors, whose quality management systems are also expected to live up to the expectations of the aerospace industry.

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is a standard used by companies who take an organized approach to understanding and improving the interaction between their business activities and the environment. In developing an environmental management system certified to ISO 14001, Rotor Clip has appropriated this methodology throughout the company's processes, resulting in improvements that can be seen throughout the offices and production areas. It is Rotor Clip's policy that there are always more opportunities for reducing a manufacturer's impact on the environment.

ISO 13485:2016

Rotor Clip is now certified to ISO 13485:2016, the medical device industry’s most widely used international standard to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. When it comes to medical device manufacturing, safety, quality, and consistency are essential. Rotor Clip continually demonstrate these factors, while providing the highest quality safety critical products. Rotor Clip’s high-performing products are manufactured whilst monitoring, maintaining, and controlling processes in line with these international standards for medical device manufacturing.

TESTING LABORATORY

Rotor Clips on-site test facility is certified to IATF 16949. This lab routinely performs the necessary testing for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions that our customers require before accepting parts from us. Internally, this same lab tests the effectiveness of our manufacturing processes, such as heat treating and plating, and verifies our compliance to appropriate standards.

LOT TRACEABILITY

Product provided by Rotor Clip is labelled with a lot number. When needed, this lot number can be used to trace the history of the product, from raw material acquisition to shipment, including inspection records.
